Author and Finisher

Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith.  He authored salvation for us on the Cross.  We just have to believe and look to Him as he does the rest.  He is the finisher of our faith.  We really can't even have faith without the Lord.  He gives us the ability to have faith.  He draws us unto himself and holds us close.  The Bible says that once we give our-self to Him nothing can take us out of His hand.  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 8:38&39  We must keep our eyes on Him as to not miss anything the Lord has for us to do in His plan for us.  We are HIS and we are CALLED.  Take hold of that reality and follow the Lord.

Friends Forever

Having a friend is a wonderful blessing.  Friends span miles and time. You may not see each other for months or maybe years and the bond is still the same.  Nothing changes.  A friend is there for you all the time.  The good times and the bad times.  They are there to laugh with you , pray with you and cry with you.  We all need a friend and to have a friend, you must be a friend; a huge commitment.  We can't just be on the receiving end.  We must be givers of our time, our ears, and most of all our love.  I hope those reading this have such a friend as this.  Those of you who read this, I call you friends. You bless me by reading the  words of my heart.  A heart that is inspired by my best friend, Jesus.  (This photo is from a collection of antique photo's that I have.)

If A Man Loves Me

How much do you love the Lord?  A Little, A lot, or so much there are no words to describe your love? Hopefully it is the latter.  If you love Him you must keep His words.  You must live according to the Word of God and Believe that the Bible is the infallible word of God .  You must be unshakable.  If you do these things the Father will love you, and He and Jesus will come to you and make their home with you.  How precious is that? We have a God that desires to be intimate with us.  He longs to make His abode with us.  We are a blessed people!

Ministering Angels

Thank the Lord for Ministering Angels.  There are so many times in life that you just know that there was an Angel right there to protect you from a difficult or dangerous situation.  I remember one night we had a new puppy and I had to take him

outside to go potty.  I sat down on our picnic bench in the back yard and waited for him.   While waiting I heard a thump like something had landed on the ground near our fence.  I got a strange urging to get the pup and run into the house.  When I got inside I could see police car lights in the front of the house.  They were searching for something with flashlights.   What they were searching for was in my backyard and it was a man on the run from the police.  I felt very protected that night knowing that I had been sitting in the back yard with that person.  Later they were looking for a gun.  Those of us who know salvation are given ministering angels to take care of us.  This photo was taken in a beautiful church in Mazatlan, Mexico.  It was a mural on the wall behind the alter.

Hands For The Lord

Use us Lord to reach out to the needy around us. Use our hands to comfort the broken heart.  Our hands will lay softly on the person who is sick and in need of healing.  These hands will work to gather food and clothing for those that are without.  These hands will work hard for our families.  But most important of all these hands will raise in praise of you Dear Lord.  Help us to be Proverbs women.

White As Snow

Its April, and here in Colorado the snow is flying.

Looking out the window you feel as if you were inside a snow globe.  The flakes are just gently  floating as they gracefully fall to the ground.  I love the snow and the beauty it provides to the earth, and of course the much needed moisture.  But most of all I love the snow as an example of the Lords cleansing of our sins.  I write about this often because I think we should always be reminded that we are all sinners, and need that cleansing in order to have eternal life.  With Jesus we can be as white as show.

The Lord God Created Everything

And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind; and God saw that it was good.  And God blessed them, saying be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas and let fowl multiply in the earth. Genesis 1:21&22 Creation speaks to us of Gods mighty power.  It speaks of His Majesty.  Creation is a visual of the awesome God we serve.  There was no big bang, there was no evolution, God created it all, every beautiful, wonderful, awesome bit of it.
